I Was A Bumper Sticker Statistic

Byflyer 2005

Well, um, not exactly but if you, fellow Californians, have seen this sticker you'll know that this is a fifty cent souvenir of an otherwise four dollar and fifty cent experience to an unusual gravitational pull. That and the other phenomenon where I looked about the same height as my 5'7" friend from outside the spot, in front of a dozen or less crowd who watched the illusion, I guess the trip was worth it (this also enforces the idea that I will only look tall in another world). Since you can't take gravity home, this sticker is the lollipop of all visits, plus a dizziness to the head. Still, it was a pretty good experience, the mystery shack fulfilled every boy's dream of doing that Matrix-Neo-dodging-the-bullet-scene where our young tour guide had fun bending over backwards and of course, Spiderman.

Under the Boardwalk
Obviously, it wouldn't be Santa Cruz without the Boardwalk. Brought me memories of that good soundtrack movie "The Lost Boys" running thru my head--People are strange when....uh, enough of that. Anyways, it was totally fiery that day. And me, still doing downtime with the Cipros (too embarassed to explain this, and it's not the anthrax medicine, um, never mind), I have to be totally wrapped up in a sweater and a hat. Boy, I was showering in my sweat, every piece of living thing I saw were hugged only by a piece of cloth. The place had changed a little bit, more rides, more clam chowders, more ticket booths; I even got to enjoy two roller coasters unlike the last time I was there. The day proved to be promising with the bright beach and the blue water amongst my friends and their families. Although there was a dense fog far on the horizon it never bothered the perfect moment. I heard the fog went to San Francisco instead.

Perfect Day - Saturday
I worked my events backward here, so, if Mystery Spot ended my trip on a Sunday, my perfect day started on a Saturday. It was Mr H's birthday and me, D and his family, and H's friends went to a volleyball game at Lake Elizabeth. Like I mentioned before, the medication pushed me back on the tree shade but I don't care. I just enjoyed myself on chair watching the game as friends and strangers joined together to play and an Indian stranger doing a little trash talk on the side. Us non-players decked out on the shade with a blanket, a couple of coolers, a radio, no beer and no food (so, guess what's in the cooler). Ahhhhhhhh....c'est la vie.
