OB in OC

It's probably the cheapest thing in the OC but the lightest thrill I did during the weekend. My parents found this balloon compelling that they searched high and low to pinpoint it's location. Finally, they found "pseudo-ING Direct Savings Account logo" hiding in the middle of an airfield. And Orange County (get it) was so rich enough to offer the ride for free.

Just looking at it makes me want to open a savings account.

The only thing that's keeping the balloon from drifting to the ionosphere.

The other weekend was consumed in the annual river rafting in Sacramento. Here's a simple depiction of what happened to me there...

And here's a reenactment of what happened to my new cellphone.

Note that these did not happen concurrently nor were the result of one event or the other. Illustration A was a result of overzealous water fight where I got in the way of one strong water blast, which I lost my balance. Historically, this was the first time it happened to me. The second illustration was also something of a first -- my cellphone drowned; the thought of making sure I have a phone just in case I got lost in a river full of other people drinking beer cost me insufferable loss of contact to civilization, for a mere seven days. Thank God for moms and their cell contract renewals, I got a new one for free.

Anyway, i'm just pushing my adventures in. Since a lot or not much happened to my life lately. Just busy moving around, I guess...
