Test, What Test?

For some unforeseen reasons, or maybe my professor overlooked this spectacular activity called "reading", midterms were cancelled for next week. I can't contain my elation. But somehow I also can't help but feel the class have been sidetracked almost completely with what we've wanted to learn in the first place, or that we've been duped to buying a $40 book that has no connection with the syllabus. Well, others would say who cares as long as you earned the first quarter points of the semester by default. (that killed motivation, hahaha...)
