Detoxification

I think I abused myself running today. My feet took the long hard 45 minutes I extended just to burn the ice cream calories. Seriously, I believe I won't be able to enjoy walking tomorrow...

It was summer so I visited the tiny couple (my reference to Cris and Peggy) proudly brandishing my floral strappy sandals (aka Mojo's) and the weather took a turn for the worse. Think of this relationship, sun is to inland as fog is to the coast, irregardless of the season which dictates the trend. So, I forgot I was living in San Francisco, the cold is here to stay, forever...

Our 'family day' comprised of going to the supermarket and to Toys 'R' Us. It was supposed to be uneventful day until an ambulance came along the store and tried to appease our curiosity. Even if we're curious as to what had happened it only managed to stay in the short memory territory.

Back at the couple's place, the neighbors at Apt#1 took interest in Baby Caira because she's probably the only light in that apartment...I did mention in my log before that cats thrive in that neighborhood but stories are more interesting here as they come...I met the people at Apt 1. There is the cute brother and sister tandem, only the boy is gay and the sister is well, a lesbian. My mind instantly flicks *tsk-tsk* whenever I see them because they're really beautiful people with switched sexual preferences (I imagine it to be another version of Freaky Friday)... On the top floor, there is "psycho lady", who always threatened to leave the place because she can't stand the people around her but never does. She always have something to complain about everyone, loud tv noises, laughter, footsteps etc. She channels her complaint thru her daughter who always have to knock on doors, even at the apartment on a separate building beside them (how the hell Psycho Lady can hear that far is beyond me). I kinda felt sorry for the girl ...I had a glimpse of Psycho Lady and I imagined her to go into this fit of rage and destroy everyone in her path. But she never did any harm, I just get extra cautious whenever I park my car beneath her window. There was another studio apt for a single woman in that building but she basically kept to herself.

I love hanging around Starbucks especially on Friday nights, I designate it as the night to myself. This is where I spend my time writing and juicing out my creative thoughts. However, due to a scheduling adjustment I did my creative jam this Sunday night...

As for the coffee part this is where it gets tricky. I confess that I am lactose-intolerant. I don't drink coffee, too, but I like a frappuccino. All the drinky items in the menu makes me sick afterwards, but I got to have a reason to hang around the place that's why I always choose the Frapps. And yet I still continue to drink knowing that in an hour or so I have to make a dash to the bathroom. This is the weird part of me that won't go away. Detoxification is good but still has to practice moderation.
