A Room is Considered a Rathole If You're in It for Four Days
Especially if you're sick and have some virus pals partying in there, landlord's concerned-for-my-health-sweetness aside. Used up one pack of Airborne, 1 bottle of Formula 44 and the four remaining Sudafed gelcaps. Crap, crap and crap. Except for that secret formula in 44 which made me spit
Chicken Soup #1
I had my first visitor on a Sunday who was willing to play the transferee. Mr. D was so sweet to take the risk. He brought some comfort foods (more sweets) like the local Nagaraya, Chocnut and Chocolate Crunchies. Ultimate cure, not. And the sweetness extended with him driving me out for lunch and early dinner where my fever has gotten worse. I don't blame him, see crap above. I was hoping Thera flu will do the trick, always does...whee. So, skipped the great Coxon concert. Monday was my planned day off and I was suppose to meet my ex-classmate C during that day. The flu scheduled itself on that day, screw it, it ruined my day and so is my sense of humor. Pooh pooh.

This may look like a milk carton if not for a PS2 logo on top. This is the next coolest game called Katamari Damacy. When Mr. D visited me, he gave me his PS2; another reason to prolong my stay in my room, aside from being really sick. It is a very unique albeit weird game about a prince and his ball called a Katamari. His malevolent if not sadistic father took the stars from heaven and asked his son to use his Katamari to collect the objects his father dropped on Earth. It is thru these collected objects that the big father will create the stars one by one. Man, it is totally wicked. Instead of piling up on weapons and points, the ball gets anything on it's path, starting from small objects like tacks, sushi, soy sauce, milk cartons, orange juice to big ones like pets, people, boats, storm fences, cars and buildings. It's totally addicting and funny. The graphics look as though you're on a mild pychedelic trip and the soundtrack is so catchy. This wasn't actually a cure it just stressed me out more but I enjoyed it in the end and in between runny nose and sneezes.
