It's been almost ten(!) years since I woke up in America. I've been living in the Philippines for the past 27 years and sincerely America is a new form of consciousness for me -- culture, places, people and lifestyle... Here is the story of my new life expressed thru my images and words.
hi ate, sweeping comment for the last three entries (4/11, 4/08, and 4/01)..
i love that picture sa window. there's something about overcast scenes that just make you wanna watch it get cold and gloomy outside while you're all nice and cozy inside.
so do you like or not like nokia one-megapixels? mine's an old nokia quarter-megapixel he he he..
your moving to L.A. is a big thing pala. i didn't catch that last time nagYM tayo. you made it seem, like, 'la lang, just need to be there. na-reassign ka, diba? tapos, i'm intrigued: what's the relationship of your visa status with L.A.?
so THAT'S how wine bottles are corked..
uy, si tita hya! he he he ang cool nang captions. :) was that pic taken when you were at solvang?
BJ: thanks for the feedback. I'd like to talk to you at YM!, don't want to indulge too much on my situation here, I'll just bore everyone else to death, :-)
I'm not too crazy about cam phones because of the quality but every camera have their own quirks (I'm using Holga for one, a toy camera), but I try to appreciate the imperfections of light capturing life. I encourage you to try it, you'll be surprised at what you come up with.
We did go to Solvang, as my old posts show (try November/december 05). It is a very quaint scandinavian town standing between the Santa Barbara/Santa Ynez wine country. So, save up na and go here...I'll show you around.
