My Pareidol

Not that it matters, but yes.

The paper mat expressed my feelings about my miso...

Look again.

In fairness Mr. Teriyaki has the best oyster katsu by far(unless someone proves me wrong one day).

But happiness must come to an end.

As I'm not enjoying the privileges of a walking and talking citizen (which to me is just a technicality away and to which I'd rather not elaborate) I must undergo a forceful adventure to another faraway land -- the vain magnet known as Los Angeles. It's not like it's a new culture to reckon with, just the assholes on the road, and the ugly roads. In the meantime, I hope to just temporarily say goodbye to established friendships I made in the Bay Area. It's like that song about leaving hearts in this place, which by now public knowledge.

In the realm of learning, a co-worker celebrated a birthday milestone with a wine party. Part of the program is a "Sideways"-like wine tasting 101, that if it were a graded class, I would have failed miserably. I'm never much of a connoisseur, I can never tell the difference between pinot grigio, chardonnay, sirah, pinot noir, cabernet sauvignon or a merlot but I know they are six factors to intoxication. Although I had a hands on process in bottling a wine, which answered my age old peeve of why it's too darn hard to break the seal -- it's all in the heat.

Speaking of "Sideways" I just found out that in one of the scenes with the two characters was shot in the same restaurant my mom and I ate at Solvang a few months ago.

Not that it matters, but yes. I even called her about it.
