...the Cool Gym Teacher
Oh, that's right Toto, we're not in high school anymore.
My spinning class last night was a bit cool because the music was a nice selection of alternative sounds of Grandaddy, Yeah Yeah Yeahs, Longwave, Turin Brakes, Postal Service et al. It puts me in a good motionless bike ride (yeah, right). It's all because of the instructor named Julie. I think she's younger than me but everytime I go to her class she's always acting like her handsfree microphone is always busted which is really not. I thought she's always a quiet type of person until she snapped at the next batch of noisy spinning students standing behind us, telling them to keep it down. Not a few seconds later, she changed her mind and asked them to leave the room, right in front of us. I marvelled at the way she handled that, added to her taste in music I would think she embodied coolness. I almost asked for a copy of her compilation...Just in case you're wondering what a spinning class is it is the combination of these factors:
stationary bike + black lights + instructor + students + music + one hour
Otherwise, spinning is just a fancy term for you on a stationary bike.
(it's a good butt shaper as far as I can tell)
