Tis the Reason

To be uncharacteristically splurging on a year's end while the season ravagely rips away accumulated savings . It is the time to remember something but I forget what it is because I tune in to everyone else's wish list. Amid the dancing and wining at company functions, meeting people at airports or bus stations, frantically thinking of food to contribute to the party, and experiencing traffic delays at the malls, I keep asking myself, "I'm still forgetting something". What is it? A gift? Money? Cards to send out? A person I'm suppose to meet? Santa Claus? Carols?

Oh, Christ, why did I forget you?

Man, now I feel guilty. Thanks a lot! I should've gone to church yesterday, haha!

I didn't mean to. If any one should be absolutely guilty or guilt-ridden, that would be me. If the church was a school I would have been totally kicked out. I guess you know who my saving grace is.
