"The Great (Primetime) Raid"
The trailers started rolling out for "The Great Raid". I'm not sure if it's going to be shown at the same time in the Philippines but the ads were being shown heavily on prime time, and that should be good right? I saw a quick glimpses of Cesar Montano and Rez Cortez but you have to train your eyes to spot them within the dissolves. Cinematography looked promising, though. Exciting as it may seem because of it's dedication to unsung Filipino war veterans, I probably won't watch it anyway; it looks like another clichéd war movie about daring rescues like "Let's Get Harry" (it's about drug war okay, gosh).
Peruse this material: "Ghost Soldiers" where the movie was based from.

In my other personal news, I think my blog is getting a little lame. Just came back from Vegas last weekend with neither winnings or sunblock. Man, the city is like a freaking pre-heated oven and i'm the gingerbread girl. My parents and my sis-in-law watched Lani Misalucha and the Society of Seven right at the bottom of the Bally's hotel. That's basically my woo-hoo. Show was a little expensive but Lani was excellent, spoofed Celine Dion, eerie but funny.
If there is a shortage of pics here, well, i can't entirely help it. But it will come in a few. I'm a bit excited with film developing classes that are coming out.
