Triple Shot

So, it was just another ordinary day at work. And then there was a mini health fair at work, the highlight of it all is enticing you to a flu shot. But then there were like six mini health info tables, where you have to earn three orange stickers by having several people talk you into fitness or whatever. And there where freebies, like post-its and pens, and then there's snacks where you can grab rice krispies treat, Quaker granola bars and fruit punch. Surprisingly, no fruits. Anyway, when you earned blah blah talk and grabbed the free stuff you join the raffle for more prizes and have your flu shot. But you don't really have to get a shot if you're a scaredy cat, you can still grab the treats. That's what the fair is for anyway, to not distinguish the gutfull from the gutless (it's all fair, get it) Then again, I have this tingly vibe going on about the raffle.

And then I heard again from the HR person. She asked me to pass by her office and claim yet another prize I won. This time it's an 'almost giveaway' bag, i.e. "good as a grocer canvas bag". I can't believe my luck, first an Avid Express Pro, then the nice speaker I just happen to blog below and then this. I can't control my laughter inside which came out as a snort outside. My cube-bor was like, "What you won again, you're sweeping most of the company's prizes!". I softly answered, "I'm probably getting what is due for me, because I just started here", which he may or may not have heard. As a temp, I'm like not really eligible for company perks like those regular emps get. They got their gifts for being a fully hired worker bee, I believe I might have deserved some treats not afforded to my 'kind'. Me and another person with a hanging 'temporary' ID.
