The House of Sand and Fog

This movie is really sad. This movie is also a great lesson in real estate, about the dire consequences of not paying the appropriate business taxes in the county. By this fact, it becomes a scary movie. Now, why does Jennifer Connelly, aka the homeowner, never kept a title insurance on the property. Even if it's an estate of inheritance from her father, the mere transfer of the title and deed to her name should have pulled up an outstanding lien and put a cloud on title. It would really spare the county knocking on her door. Amen.
