Trial Separation

Things are pretty much going to slow down around here in blogland. In a matter of weeks I'm going to have a trial separation from Boss#1 and will be spending my time with Boss#2. They have decided to put me in a more secluded place where I won't have to answer the phone and being nagged by wrong number dialers (yup, happens all the time), pre-recorded or live telemarketers, and people asking for the serial number of your copier (if you're smart enough you wouldn't do this, I swear). Should I scream and shout for joy? Well, I really like my boss#1, he was my mentor ever since I started work here, plus I bug him all the time with my questions about life and money (just kidding). Boss#1 will be going Southbound, yes to L.A., the City of Hell...s Angels. The office here will shrink, but we will still keep the view (see my first few entries so you'll know what I mean). The office force will be delegated, it's another word for re-grouping. But our hours are back to normal.

For me, I have been bumped one box up the organizational chart, which is good, but the process I have to go to would be intense. I got two manuals to memorize, aside from the upcoming midterms next week. There is that research on that new office where I will be re-assigned and my social capacities from now will be non-existent. Although one of my co-workers promised me to one day rescue me, and bring me back to San Mateo, from what he/she deemed the 'evil' clutches of my bosses. Though that may be far from true, that was a really sweet thing to say. In the meantime, sayonara Burlingame and hello Pleasanton.
