Grain of Asin

Oh, and there's the concert of Lolita Carbon that I thought was postworthy. She's two-thirds part of the band 'Asin' (salt for english); she and her band had a concert here at Pinoy Bistro in Cerritos. I rarely have this is brush with greatness. Almost 30 or so years since they have been around, their songs never seem to fade away. Lolita's voice may have evolved to a raspy, JanisJoplin grunge tiredness quality maybe caused by age; actually it sounded fresh in my opinion. Another thing, the place can use a nice sound system because they suck, sorry. I'm just glad I got this opportunity, dad and a stranger that night almost hooked up for a fanbase.
